Program Description:

“My poetry is about what connects us, we who live on and with the land.“

Bruce Roseland is a fourth generation rancher who grew up in north central South Dakota. His formal education ended when, after receiving a Master’s degree in sociology, he decided to return to the land, a place that made sense to him in a world that frequently does not. “The land talks and I listen. It has made me who I am; what I write and how I write all coming from the noisy quiet of this place I call home.”
