Noted US poet, W. S. Merwin, died this year at age 91. Merwin wrote 50 books of poetry and prose, most related to social causes including the anti-war movement in the 1960s and ecological issues subsequently. Merwin was the 17th US Poet Laureate. Selections of his poetry will be presented by our own Carol Merwin.
